Paulina Castro is a documentary filmmaker and creative television producer. For more than a decade, she has traveled the world, lived in a border city, and worked on delivering video images that connect her with a variety of perspectives and communities. These experiences helped her gain creativity and depth, producing intuitively, while connecting with stories and viewers. She graduated from the Film department of the University of California, Santa Cruz. She is currently based in Colorado, where she works as a Creative Services Manager for Telemundo Colorado. She has 29 Emmy Award nominations, and has been an Emmy Award recipient 17 times in different production categories. For Castro, working with video is a way of expanding and expressing herself, a tool to connect with people, and an opportunity to deliver the right message.
